Shake Torch

Everyone should have a shake torch. Great for your emergency kit, car, camping, kids. You'll never have to frantically search for a torch that has working batteries in it again!

It's waterproof and it floats. It's robust; made from semi-translucent shock resistant plastic.

How does it work? The shake torch has a large magnet inside it which sits within a conducting coil. As the torch is shaken, the magnet moves back and forth generating an electrical current. This current is then transferred to a holding cell which retains it and enables you to use the torch even if it has not been shaken for some time. Clever!
