The weather station can function as a stand alone station or with Weather Underground and / or the La Crosse Live View™ App, you can remotely access the weather station's data from your smartphone or tablet. The La Crosse Live View app also enables you to receive alerts and push notifications when user-defined value
V40-PRO, La Crosse Technology monitors the indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, "Feels Like" temperature, dew point, wind speed, wind direction and rainfall data, daily high and low temperature records, dynamic forecast icons, and a Wi-Fi connected option, which will allow you to see all of your sensor data in La Crosse View app.
The La Crosse View weather station can function as a standalone weather station OR WiFi Connectable by downloading the free La Crosse View™ App for enhanced features. Please note: requires 2.4GHz channel wireless modem.

The V40-PRO station can display data from one Temperature & Humidity (TH) sensor and one Multi Senor (wind/rain). Add-on sensor data will appear only in the La Crosse View app. Up to four additional sensors can be added and viewed on the La Crosse App.
I purchased this for my husband's birthday, it arrived promptly, it was easy to set up, however we did have a bit of difficulty setting up the La Crosse App due to our modem settings, but we got it figured out in the end. The colour screen is awesome and easy to read and so far it seems accurate!!
Very good all round. Good price, quick delivery considering the Covid delays, customer service was excellent, and the unit was easy to set up once I downloaded the PDF. It works well, and is easy to read and understand. Its also standing up to the extreme weather in my area, and has already recorded 145kph wind speed with no issues.
Haven’t downloaded the app yet, but so far the weather station is performing well, and the station is easy to read and looks great. Still have a few more things to learn.
